A Interview with Mister Fab

I was like yea, I gotta just jump back in and ask him if he was cool with me interviewing him. So I hit him up on twitter, just like his song said to do.  Then he said sure… I waited several days. Then I went and hit him up on his Myspace.  Yep, that’s how it went. Then.. I waited. Then he said I could call him.. Then I waited. See the pattern here? Haha. Well anyways so I text-ed him, Saturday I got a “Hello” via text.  Then I text-ed him back “When would you like to do this interview.”  … Flat  out ignored. I know he’s busy, but damn, he couldn’t make time for his old… friend “Alfy”? It’s all good. Eventually, we got the interview done and that was tonight. So all is forgiven, I know life’s hectic and rough, and Mistah Fab is hella busy. All is well.

Mama Alfy: Do you have any new music coming out soon?

MistahFab: I hope, It’s going to be a compilation of many artists, wants the album to come across good, and it’s coming together.

Note: I was out side, and my hearing is still damaged, so I couldn’t hear all the artists he is going to be working with, but do hit him up on twitter I urge you.

Mama Alfy: What do you think of Ludacris’s newest album “Battle of the Sexes?”

Mistah Fab: I didn’t listen to it. (That made me chuckle)

Mama Alfy: What’s your fave underground rapper?

Mistah Fab:  I have several The Grouch,  Tech Nine, and Andre Nickatina

Mama Alfy: If you could work with any famous rapper who would it be?

Mistah Fab: Eminem is a big influence.

Mama Alfy: What’s your favorite club in the Yay Area? (Bay area California)

Mistah Fab: I don’t really go out much. But if I do, it’s some where chill, a club called New Parish in down town Oakland.

I didn’t want to keep the super busy Mistah Fab from his hard hustle.  He’s gotta keep on that grind, and reach that next level. I believe he will.  Because he’s cooler than polar bear toe nails.  I say scream “Ice-cream” the next time you see Mistah Fab! If you’re seeing him preform scream “Ice-cream”! So I was quite tired and bummed out last night, because the new ‘boo’ want’s to take things, slow, and I found out he’s single. So that rocks. But man… I shouldn’t of let the oops win. Here I am thinking he felt the same.. and let the oops happen. He so could of been a gentleman and been like nah, we just met lil mama, I know your hormones are crazy but chill out. He didn’t though. Ahh oh well, on one level my body needed the oops. I so want more of the WOO.. you know as in the woo hoo you feel when in lust, that just might lead to love? I am thirty now I should have better control of my hormones. I really should, so I was feeling quite down and sitting here with more than just a frown, my princess crown, even though invisible was tossed on the bed (and by bed i really mean broken and crappy couch) and I was sobbing uncontrollably. I asked Magbeatz to write about him self, and if I made any mistakes in the following I take the blame! I met Magbeatz online through twitter.  He seems nice. He is a music producer not a rapper, lets get that straight right away! Ayoo!!!

MAGGBEATZ BIO:

Last year, I, received the 2009 Boston URBAN MUSIC AWARDS  PRODUCER OF THE YEAR. I started out in 2001 with a company named “GFACE ENT” It was a friend and myself. He build the kicks and snare on the beats and I completed it by putting my touch of sound to it. Together we produced for a few local artist in Massachusetts. But, didn’t get to far. Soon I found out his hunger for music wasn’t as strong as mine! We parted ways in 04. That’s when I decided to do this thing “we call music” on my own. My grind or “grustle” has given me the opportunity to win a music award and work with well known artists in the Boston Mass region. Such as Female MC BayHolla, Germ Ghee of Goonsquad/Blackwallstreet yes the “Games” labal! The super group “Scoe and Magnum”, “Wally Sparks” “Prolific Ent” “Cyclone”, SnubbDezzy, Q-Furb, BigSen Etc. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with NYC EMC’S HellzYea out of BK and Jdidda out of Harlem. You can hear my work with my artists on www.touchfm.org and every fri and sat from 10pm to 3am est time. Also on Hustlengrindradio.com out of Arizona. I just recently had the pleasure of joining “Boss that meet Bosses Music Group” Exclusive Fashion and Furs. With the boss, big Polo Behind the steering wheel, my grind has stepped up 2000 notches!! Since joining I just got finished working on the soundtrack and Featured in a documentary called “Day in a life of a fashion mogal” staring The Furking part one. Which came out November 21st 2009. Part2 “The winter series” is in the works. So look out for that as well. Also, I’m working on a few tracks for the singing sensation “Urban Music Awards” winner out of Boston MA “Mr.Keys”. And Hiphop Mc FilthyRich of  Prolific ENT both under “Boss That Meet Bosses Music Group” and Exclusive fashion and Furs. Look out for their albums soon. Also in the works [Song or cd, I am not sure]with a rap group called DCFAM out of  Boston Massachusetts and Speciale904 and Mr.Deastge of Team Randolf out Florida. He is a night owl like me ladies, he is hard working but makes time for “Family”. He seems stable, and steady. Ladies get at him he just happens to be single! Woo hoo!! What else he made it abundantly clear he’s a producer and not a rapper! We got it big daddy you are a producer! Yea I said it already but we’re making it clear! HAHA! He like me, likes to be able to see into a person’s eyes, hello they are the windows to the soul! Am I right or am I right?! Eh who am I asking anyways?

I wonder how you miss muse of the wonderous Kevin Rowe, could awaken my heart and soul, and get me to use music again. I promised never to listen to music again.  Why??! I’ll tell you why, I had my heart-broken, torn, shredded, I felt cracked on so many levels I couldn’t even tell you the pain, no way to describe it. I am afraid I quite snapped. I lived in a broken haze of I don’t give a fuck. Then randomly I got a message on Myspace.com from this Brit-bloke, who spelled his words correctly. I was utterly amazed. A handsome man who spelled his words right. I was honestly floored. Then I sorta  said “what the hell” and decided to check out his music.  I cried. I laughed. I danced. I think I am starting to heal. I can not tell you how much it was great to hear to hear music that didn’t mention someones ass, or jiggle, or wiggle.  Nor was it about drugs, or sex, what a revelation! I am officially hooked.  So while we owe tons of appreciation to Kevin Rowe to listening to his muse, I also think we have to thank his muse for motivating him! Thank you, you sexy musical muse, do not stop motivating Mr. Rowe!!

Kevin, I must say I adore your voice, it is very sexy! Your lyrics utterly hit home especially in 4 Walls!  Yes you need to sing like a rich man, because I believe you will be one of the greats! Kevin I am sure you get many a fan-mail, I know I sent one my self. I am stoked you wrote back. To me that says everything even if I never hear from you again, it was a chance in a life time to get a real to god e-mail from you!  Haha! I am a fan!  My boys who are nearly eight and ten both love to dance, trust they will never admit it! Hehe! My oldest even likes Abba! I can only hope that more people check out your music and that you get your comeuppance!   I won’t post your music lyrics here even though I want too.  I’ll wait.  Maybe Someday I can post audio and photos of us doing a proper interview till then keep on rocking!!
